Phi Mu
"The Faithful Sisters"
Phi Mu was founded in 1852 at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia.
It began as the Philomathean Society, a literary society, and is the second oldest secret society for women.
We all believe in the ideals of our Creed: Love, Honor, and Truth. Phi Mu’s interest in philanthropy is expressed in the first line of their Creed, “To lend to those less fortunate a helping hand,” a guiding principle for Phi Mu.
Phi Mu is the only sorority to be a corporate sponsor of Children’s Miracle Network. We support Children’s Miracle Network through Puddle Pull, which is one of Miami’s most recognized on-campus philanthropy events.
Phi Mu sisters believe in leadership and are involved in various organizations on campus ranging from acapella groups, club sports, Miami dance team, Miami shakerettes, business fraternities, and more.
Our sisterhood is at the core of everything we do, and we celebrate our strong sisterhood each semester with various events on campus.
